JUMVEA validates the mileage and seals the odometer unit. A validation sticker is attached to the front windscreen.

When mileage can be verified a certificate can be issued on request.

The service is available on request and costs 5,000 YEN. If a car fails the test you can choose if you wish to continue the import process or not. Although when inspecting a vehicle to we do our best to make sure the mileage seems genuine, we can't always spot clocked cars. Should you decide to reauction a vehicle after a JUMVEA inspection you will need to pay for any losses.
